There are 25 boat-in campsites available and 59 standard campsites for RV or tent camping.  Reservations are required for camping and use of the villas.

Four boat ramps provide access to Lake Jocassee.  Boaters are required to pay the daily park admission in order to launch their personal craft, rental boats or go on private lake tours.  There are also on-site boat rentals that include canoe, kayak, pontoon and paddleboards.  They are available through a company called Eclectic Sun.

There is an admission to the park everyday but Tuesday.  The park can get quite busy on weekends and holidays and sometimes parking can reach capacity.  It is recommended to get there early.  Park hours are  7am-9pm, daily, from late spring to mid fall and 7am-6pm, daily, late fall to mid-spring.
